Whitlow Leveret

Meaning: Derived from the word White, Leveret means young rabbit.

Role: It's rumoured that Maddox rescued the rabbit faunus from a mysterious, unrecorded Grimm he had been tracking, and Whitow just followed him home one day.  Despite not being much older than the students at twenty seven, he's taken up the role of Grimm Meister and Medic.

Species: He is a plump Fuzzy Eared Lop faunus, the youngest of Arcadia's staff at twenty-five. The chubby young man is often seen puffing hurriedly from place to place, his long white eyes flapping around his face.

Personality: Whitlow is a chubby young man, speaking nervously and earnestly on the many dangers of Grimm. His days in the wild have left him with a host of paranoia, twitchy reflexes and a scream like a seven year old girl when startled. His skittish personality and young age means the students rarely take him seriously. He's afraid of his own shadows and those fears are growing every as he continues to chart the frequency and intensity of Grimm attacks in Ambrose, and their relation with astrological cycles.

He is by no means a medic, but he is a hypochondriac and so is first on the scene when anyone is injured, trying to plaster the poor paper cut with a pool's worth of antisceptic, a mile of plaster and more pills than the local pharmacy from his own personal hoard. And, when the Academy lacks the appropriate supplies he's the first to suggest the Ambrose hospital, a dangerous affair, but that may just him taking any chance to visit upon Miss Tissue, a human nurse of whom he has great fondness.

He is also a close confident of the headmaster, both being caught in heated whispers gazing up at the shattered moon.

Weapons: Whitlow doesn't have a weapon as such but he does have a trusty umbrella and projecting his aura it becomes a shield but more he's more likely to squeal and bolt down the closest hole when faced with anything more threatening than a dust bunny.

He is also never seen without his eerie pocket watch, embossed with a grimm facade and while not only telling the time but also the moon phase. He is constantly checking it and asking Ferney if it needs any adjustments for accuracy.
