Artists Comments: Another one of these bios, a basic template described by Mxrevolverstudios and I wrapped it up in pretty words. What can I say. I can't say I like the main reference of Montana, no matter what I did he still looked so boyish, although I do think the expressions in the corner give a better reference. One thing I'm dead proud of is his chestplate. Even if it took a thousand tries it still came out pretty good.AGENT MONTANASetting:
Jeramiah F. KarringtonAge:
Agent Montana, but only if your teeth have no longer become a necessity. He feels strongly about retaining his individuality, only accepting his name or it's abbrivated form of JFK.Nationality:
Swarthy skinned, Montana is a lanky man that towers over his fellow Freelancers. Rough hewn with seemingly perminant 5 o'clock shadow and pale scar etching his right cheek from ear to lip, he is never seen without a grubby cigar hanging from a disapproving scowl .Personality:
It's unanimous that Montana is the perfect strategist, a man who naturally knows the tides of war, the lay of the land and the courage of a soldier... if only he could be persuaded not to have charisma than an ancient lawnmower. He speaks in gutteral growls with a tongue like a razor and if you want to work with him you better straighten up and march to the beat of his drum.
Montana is a man who sees the bigger picture and that any war or mission is bigger than one man so has little sympathy for those who don't meet his high standards, broken leg or not. So many of his speeches start off with, "Back when I was training..." If he has one weakness is that a compulsive need for cleanliness and organisation.Freelancer Story:
Montana was the first individual chosen for the program, recognised for his exemplary military record and precise psychological dossier identified by the Counsillor but unfortunately did not meet the neural profile identified with optimal AI synchronisation. He was paired with several AI but implantation did not take. It wasn't until the last fragment was isolated did they find a match, the AI Zeta. It was presumed to be stable but after several missions recorded as successful Montana returned the AI. Beneath his rock hard facade Montana was depression spiralling out of control.
With the breakdown of Project Freelancer Montana was swept back into the regular ground forces but still has strong ties with his old Freelancer comrades.Specialization:
Sweep and ClearArmour Enhancements:
As one of the first Agents identified he was awarded the prototype to Tex's invisibility, an enhancement referred to as Cloaking. When standing still Montana is impossible to see, even more effective than Tex's Invisiblity, but the light bending chromatophores that make up the surface of his suit are unable to adapt fast enough when he is active. Instead there is what looks like a perceptible heat haze over the background. Because of this Montana's style is to scout an area from a distance and then lurk in shadows to strike with the element of surprise.AI:
The last fragment isolated, Zeta represented the Alpha's Grief, that which was doing him the most damage but that which he clung to the most. Montana and Zeta were only paired for a short time but it was enough to arouse his suspicions about the Freelancer Program. She rarely appeared but when she did she was often mistaken for his shadow, swathed head to toe in a dark robe, a pale featureless woman with sorrowful eyes.Preferred Weapons and Fighting Techniques:
As a young man Montana was on the school kendo team which naturally followed into a love of kenjutusu. These skills have aided his stealth skills well so that he is able to silent dispatch the enemy as he sweep's and clears a base but he still prefers distance weapons such as his trusty Sniper Rifle.Theme Songs: Burn It To The Ground by NickelBack
